FLEXICON BULK BAG DISCHARGERS
Flexicon's latest generation of bulk bag dischargers can eliminate the drawbacks of outdated designs while dramatically improving convenience, safety and cleanliness. The heart of the new design is a bag spout interface that not only creates a dust-tight seal, but promotes material flow and total evacuation. It also allows easy retying of partially empty bags, and can collapse empty bags—free of spillage and dust.
Offered in numerous frame configurations, the two most popular include dischargers with bag lifting frame for forklift loading and unloading of bulk bags and dischargers with cantilevered I-beam, electric hoist and trolley for loading and unloading of bulk bags without the use of a forklift.
Other bulk bag unloader configurations include split frames for forklift loading of bags in low headroom areas, half frames for suspending bags during discharge using a forklift, hoistable frames for lifting the entire bulk bag discharger using an overhead crane, continuous loss-of-weight dischargers for uninterrupted feeding directly from bulk bags and other designs satisfying highly specialized requirements. |

FLEXICON FLEXIBLE SCREW CONVEYORS
A Flexicon flexible screw conveyor, also known as a spiral conveyor, screw conveyor, helix conveyor or centerless auger conveyor, consists of a spring steel or stainless steel, flexible screw that is enclosed in a flexible or rigid plastic tube, or a rigid steel tube, and driven by an electric motor normally located at the discharge end of the conveyor. This simple design delivers efficient performance and high reliability while reducing maintenance and cost. When properly engineered according to the specific characteristics of the material being conveyed and the process into which it will be integrated, a flexible screw conveyor can outperform rigid screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chain conveyors, aero mechanical conveyors and other equipment intended to transport powder and bulk solid materials. |

Dust Collector Cartridges
The HemiPleat patent pending cartridge design
promises numerous and valuable benefits
to end users of dust collection equipment.
State-of-the-art pleating technology is
the key to the HemiPleat's superior performance.
Techniques used to manufacture the media
packs of this cartridge are unique and have
never been applied to a cylindrical industrial
dust collection filter before. Synthetic
beads hold the pleats of the cartridge open
with wide pleat spacing not found in competitive
cartridges, which are packed too tightly
to maximize media use. The wider spacing
of the HemiPleat design exposes more media
to the gas stream and results in lower pressure
drop as well as improved cartridge release
characteristics during pulse cleaning. |
